Benefits

With an aim to provide an opportunity to all the senior citizen of the state to live life with dignity, the Bihar government has taken unprecedented decision to introduce "Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojna " . All people of 60 years or more will be covered.

Any person belonging to any social or income group,who has attained the age of 60 years and above and is not receiving any salary, pension, family pension,social security pension from the central / state government will get Rupees 400 / month as monthly pension under this scheme.

Monthly pension for the people above 80 years or more will be Rs. 500 / -.

Pension will be payable from 01 April 2019.
