Ghar Tak Pakki Gali Naaliyan

Inorder to strengthen the rural infrastructure, Nishchay "Ghar Tak Pakki Gali Naliyan" was inaugrated on 28th of October, 2016. After implementation of the Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojana, left out habitations having no link, shall be linked with pucca road, pucca drainage and by-lanes will be provided in all villages and towns under this scheme. Three schemes have been launched to achieve this goal :-

1. Gramin Tola Sampark Nishchay Yojana.

2. Mukhyamantri Gramin Gali Nali Puccikaran Nishchay Yojana.

3. Mukhyamantri Shahri Nali Gali Puccikaran Nishchay Yojana

Gramin Tola Sampark Nishchay Yojana

  • “Gramin Tola Sampark Nishchay Yojana” was launched on 28th October, 2016.
  • All weather single connectivity to the habitations of 250 or more population in 11 district and habitations of 500 or more population in all districts is being provided under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, while Mukhyamantri Gram Sampark Yojana covers all the habitations of more than 250 but less than 500 population in all the districts.
  • Eligible habitations and tola have been left uncovered in large numbers in both kinds of networks mentioned above. Most of these tolas / habitations belongs to the economically and socially backward classes, schedule castes and scheduled tribes.
  • The state government has decided to identify all such uncovered and unconnected tola / habitations  on the basis of satellite imaging and prepare a supplementary state core network  after their physical survey/ verification. On the basis of this core network all weather road connectivity will be provided to habitations with 100 or more population.
  • Under this scheme, 13786 (population more than 100) unconnected habitations have been identified. Out of which 4643 habitations with population 100 to 249 will be provided connectivity within three years, under Gramin Tola Sampark Nishchay Yojana. Rest 9143 unconnected habitations will be provided connectivity under Mukhyamantri Gram Sampark Yojana (MMGSY) within five years.
  •  Under  Gramin Tola Sampark Nishchay Yojana, 1751 habitations will be provided connectivity by constructing 1500 km road during the financial year 2018-2019.

Mukhyamantri Shahri Nali Gali Pakikaran Nischay Yojan

  • Mukhyamantri Shahri Nali Gali Pakikaran Nishchay Yojana was launched on 28.October.2016.
  • This scheme is being executed by Urban Development and Housing Department in Urban areas.
  • Mukhyamantri Shahri Nali-gali Pakikaran Nishchay Yojana will connect all households in urban areas of the state with pakki gali-nali.
  • Under Mukhyamantri Shahri Nali-Gali Pakkikaran Nishchay Yojna, all mohallas in every town will be connected with pakki sadak by municipal bodies and construction of by-lanes with drains in mohalla will be "taken up to connect all households.
  • Target has been set to To provide all weather connectivity and drainage facilities in all 3381urban  wards of 143 Urban Local Bodies in the state.
  • This scheme will be completed in a phased manner by all municipal bodies of the state during the next five years. It aims to cover 15 % of the targeted wards during 2016 -17, 20% during the year 2017-2018, 30 % during the year 2018-2019 and 35% during the year 2019-2020 .
  • In the financial year 2018-2019, Against a cumulative target to provide all weather connectivity and drainage facilities to 2.88 lakh households spread over all 3,331urban wards, work is under progress in 3127 urban wards and has been completed in 238 urban wards, while 2.69 lakh households have been provided with the aforesaid facilities, as of now.

Mukhyamantri Gramin Gali-Nali Pakkikaran Nishchay Yojana

  • Mukhyamantri Gramin Gali-Nali Pakkikaran Nishchay Yojana was launched on 28th of October, 2016.
  • This scheme intends to create a network of Pakka drainage and by-lanes in villages  and  habitations in the rural areas of the State.  Panchayati Raj Department is implementing the scheme through Gram Panchayats.
  • Under the Mukhyamantri Gramin Gali-Nali Pakkikaran Nishchay Yojana, target has been set to provide all weather connectivity and drainage facilities in all 1,14,691 rural wards of 8386 Gram Panchayats in the state.
  • In the financial year 2018-2019, Against a cumulative target to provide all weather connectivity and drainage facilities to 142.6 lakh households spread over 91,707 rural wards, work is under progress in 62,654 wards and has been completed in 39,661 rural wards, while 46.5 lakh households have been provided with the aforesaid facilities, as of now.
